We navigated the weather yesterday with a great field trip to the Newport Mansions and US History 1 classes!

Unified Basketball was a big hit today as we hosted Tiverton HS during school! Great sportsmanship, followed by a great win! Way to go Islanders!


Congratulations to our first recipients of the Islander Pride Pin! Seniors Jordan Brown and Vic Stabile were both nominated by Mr. Zahm for their contributions in our school and community. We are looking forward to this weekly tradition. Go Islanders!

Congratulations to Cam Souza, a junior at MHS, who participated with the Aquidneck Island Robotics Team 78- AIR STRIKE at the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) World Championship in Houston Texas. Competing against 600 team from around the world, Cam and his teammates finished 5th overall! Way to go!


It was an engaging day with our annual College Fair! Thank you to our Guidance staff for the coordination with Ms. Heroux and our parent volunteers for a robust event!




Today we acknowledged and thanked our military students in honor of Month of the Military Child. Many of our students were able to join us for a picture, received a certificate, and a token of thanks. We are blessed to have so many wonderful students at MHS.

The Governor and First Lady visited MHS today as part of their 2024 Litter-Free Rhode Island initiative. This Earth Day event celebrated DEM micro-grant awardees for trash cleanups and beautification projects and included a litter cleanup along Valley Road.

The Middletown Track and Field team took to 3rd beach today, eclipse glasses in hand, for team bonding in preparation for their meet in Barrington tomorrow!

Class of 2028, we are excited for your arrival to MHS! Please join us Tuesday evening for a brief presentation, tour the building, and ask questions! We have many updates to share and we will be celebrating our accepted CTE students!

Congratulations to senior Meghan Theriault on publishing a book of poems, Real Poems for Real Feelings, on Amazon. Meghan completed this as her senior project which she will present in late April. #2024

Congratulations to MHS junior Sonam Ngamdung for her selection to participate as one of four delegates from New England at the 68th Commission for Status on Women at the United Nations. She will be featured this morning on NBC 10 at 8:30 am. She was honored at the State House with Governor McKee.
